TestFive Microscope Slide Cell Preparation

TestFive™ Microscope Slide Cell-Preparation System for Shandon Cytospin® Centrifuge

Light Bulb  High-Capacity Cell Preparation System. Invented by NSS. Copied by Others.

TestFive Microscope Slide Cell-Preparation System consists of a Five-Hole Acrylic Cuvette, a Five-Hole Filter Card made of 100% cotton and cellulose fibers, disposable 0.65ml polypropylene MicroTubes, and a microscope slide. All components are held together by a spring-loaded stainless steel clip, supplied by Shandon, providing the safety of a completely closed system. Combined unit is designed specifically for the Shandon Cytospin centrifuge.

Depending on the type of test, this five hole configuration can be used for five individual samples or for five dilutions of the same sample. Also, fewer than five samples may be run in a cuvette. TestFive multi-specimen testing is far more efficient than testing done with conventional single sample chambers. Once the cells have been spun onto the slide, the slide is removed, and all five MicroTubes are disposed of simply by inverting the cuvette over an appropriate disposal bin.

System simplifies slide preparation for cytology, hematology, oncology, microbiology, or other research applications, while providing an economical alternative to disposable sample chambers. Acrylic Cuvette and 0.65ml MicroTubes are autoclavable.
