The BioStor Tissue-Specimen Control System is designed to store
embedding rings or cassettes in an orderly, numerical sequence for easy retrieval. Durable, metal
BioStor Filing Cabinets are available in economical three and six-drawer configurations for daily lab
bench work. Clear, high impact plastic drawers feature removable, six-section Insert-Trays with
adjustable foam stops to maintain rings or cassettes in a vertical orientation. Entire BioStor System is also compatible with other brands of cassettes.
Removable, transparent plastic BioStor Insert-Trays eliminate the time-consuming task of transferring
specimens from temporary to permanent storage. When the filing drawer is full, simply remove the
Insert-Tray, containing up to 150 embedded rings or 300 embedded cassettes, and slide it into a Storage Box.
Heavy-duty, cardboard BioStor Storage Boxes hold two InsertTrays, providing economical long-term
storage of samples embedded in paraffin. Coated, moisture resistant Storage Boxes interlock to allow
multiple stacking for maximum utilization of storage space. Convenient information panel identifies contents by department, year, numerical sequence, and discard date.
